What you get

Care that knows you.

Recovery, feeding and emotional support when the visits stop and the questions don’t.

Feeding help at 3am

Breast, bottle or both. Message a midwife when you need help, including the night feeds when everyone else is asleep.

Your recovery matters too

Stitches, bleeding, your pelvic floor, recovering from a caesarean. We talk through what’s normal and what needs checking.

How are you, really?

Regular check-ins on your mood and energy. Baby blues are common; we’ll help you spot when it’s something more and get the right support.

Ask a midwife

Is it normal to cry a lot in the first week?

Many women feel tearful a few days after birth, often called the baby blues. It usually passes within two weeks. If it lasts longer or feels heavy, tell us or your GP. Postnatal depression is common and treatable.

If you feel unable to keep yourself safe, call 999, or in England call NHS 111 and choose the mental health option.
